The assembly was convened following appointments, reading and approval of minutes of the previous Assembly, approval of agenda, and an address given by His Beatitude.

Reports were received from the Credentials Committee, chancellor, deans, treasurer, diocesan auditors, department heads and Metropolitan Council representative.

Two resolutions were approved and will be researched by the Diocesan Council: to study the value to parishes of Faith Based and Community Initiatives and to study a two-day Assembly for 2007.

Presentations were made regarding Saint Andrew's Camp, Fellowship of Orthodox Stewards and the Christmas Stocking Project.
